After being substantially supported by our "home" church for 20+ years, the Chinns' support began to be significantly reduced each year since moving to Madison in 2000, and has been totally reduced for 2005. No new churches have adopted Leiton as a missionary partner since the move to Wisconsin.

MINISTRY

ACMI was birthed in 1981. The Chinns met at the consultation that began ACMI. ACMI is a U.S./Canadian network of ministries, missionaries, and ministers (staff and church volunteers) engaged in outreach to international students. The association conducts an annual, national equipping conference that offers about 50 workshops for people involved in ISM. As a ministry network, our members can participate in an email link with each other.

Besides developing the associational membership and services, Leiton is forging linkages with ISMs in other countries, and serves as a catalyst for the ISM movement globally.

PERSONAL MESSAGE

I am grateful for the faithful support, prayers, encouragement, and friendships of my support team over the years. The Lord is blessing the investment of the support team, and multiplying the fruit of their love for Him through the expansion of ministries and workers among foreign students. Many Christian international students do eventually return home and participate in the growth of God's Kingdom in their homeland and other countries.
