ABOUT

Kathy has a tremendous passion for and feels called by God to minister to women, especially single moms. Kathy herself has been a single mom for most of her adult life with two wonderful children. Her daughter is a college student and her son is a homeschooled high school student.

Kathy has a passion for enlightening, educating, and empowering women to become the women God designed them to be. She is a small group leader, Bible study teacher, retreat speaker, conference coordinator, and mentor. She is trained by Church Initiatives as a DivorceCare facilitator and is certified as a Life Purpose Coach by LPCC International.

MINISTRY

Kathy’s ministry is a ministry of loving others the way that Jesus taught us to love by meeting physical, emotional and spiritual needs.

It is more specifically a ministry of mentoring, encouraging, and discipling women of all ages, by
• helping them to discover who they are in Christ
• helping them to discover their God-ordained purpose in life
• encouraging them to pursue all that God created them to accomplish
• teaching them to put God first in their lives.

It is also assisting women, especially single moms, to be convinced of God’s love and provision for them and their children, helping them
• to overcome the fear, insecurity, and feelings of helplessness
• by showing how God has empowered each of them to step out of the bondage the enemy would like to see imprison them
• to overcome the feelings of abandonment due to their circumstances
• to live in freedom and power as God created them to
• by teaching real-life skills to assist them in budgeting, education, child rearing, and homemaking, like nutrition, cooking and menu planning.

Kathy offers women short-term emergency counseling on divorce recovery and direction to resources to help them navigate the day-to-day necessities for them and their children.

She also offers long-term mentoring to empower women to be all that God created them to be, through a path of discovery, looking at how God uniquely gifted them with special talents, abilities, spiritual gifts, life experiences, and relationships that have made them one-of-a-kind, unique, and special women who God strategically designed to accomplish something special.

PERSONAL MESSAGE

I hear God’s call to teach, mentor, and encourage those who may profit from all that Christ has taught me about His love and provision for His daughters. There is no doubt in my mind that God has called me to do this. I know I would never choose the difficult task of encouraging those who truly find themselves and their children in desperate situations and, in many cases, without hope.

However, when I am actively engaged with one of these young moms, I come away from those encounters energized and full of praise for my God, a God who delights in His daughters and has made extravagant promises to protect and provide for us.

I know He has mapped out a future full of hope and purpose for us and for our children. When I see the Holy Spirit capture their hearts and answer their prayers, I find myself standing in awe of my God and know it is a privilege to walk alongside these women and to watch God draw them close to Himself and do amazing things in their lives!

I cannot do this alone. I need your help! I need your prayers and I need the finances to allow me to be God’s hand of blessing in the lives of so many of His daughters.
